Day at the fairgrounds

We spent the day in OKC at ... "the state fair of OK lahoma".... if you're not from OK the song is obviously NOT in your head.  I saw some dang good lookin' salad dressing...

 

 

We also went to the Bull Riding festivities and met up with Brian and Jacqueline!

August Birthdays

We celebrated Debbie's birthday with The Evans family of Waco, The Guinn family of Guthrie, Sir Hollis and mama Hill, Sp, and us. The Rusty was wonderful!

 

 

Also celebrated Taylor's birthday in OKC at Vast... which is at the top of the Devon Tower.

Portland and Casa de Sanchez

We boarded the plane and headed west! First stop was an amazing pizza place. I knew we were in good hands when they brought us a margarita in a kids sandbox toy!

Day 2 : Alpine slide, Cocktails at Mt Hood, and an incredible waterfall tour

 

We got our penny bent at Mt St Helen's

and had dinner downtown Portland at the top of a sky scraper

Spring has sprung and summer is on its way!

One sign that spring is over and summer is here is the Salt Creek Shootout. Thrilled that Katherine and Alyssa made it this year!

 

February & March

February and March were cold and blistery months. We enjoyed being married and experiencing holidays for the first time as Mr & Mrs! We met Uncle Jim and Aunt Loretta at Wild Country Meats for one GREAT steak!

 

Our favorite Julianne and Grace came to the ranch to visit and ride horses. We had SUCH a good time!

 

 

The Pawhuska Chamber Gala gave my FAVORITE mother-in-law and I the opportunity to dress up and pose with the mardi gras theme masks from the centerpieces! As if a girl needs an excuse to be fancy!!!

 

 

After a rousing game of heads or tails... Thanks to the BEST father-in-law EVER! I won a free trip straight to the stage for the finals... needless to say... my 'tail' won us some dang good prizes!

 

 

The next week I took off and headed south to see the McLain's! Boy had I missed them!

 

.......somehow Nate and Jackson missed being in front of the camera...... 

 

I think I may have a standing invitation to come on spring break every year!
