Anniversary gift

Here's my first anniversary gift in use!! 

Date number two!

Waaaay back in '09 Taylor and I went on our second date. We went to Tulsa to eat and watched the movie Taken. We were headed back to the ranch so I could get my car to go home when disaster struck!!!!! I was driving down the 10 miles of gravel toward the highway when I hit some loose gravel and sailed ... Literally sailed... Right through the barbed wire fence and into a pasture. I had to call Taylor and tell him I wrecked. He came to rescue me and two hours later my flat tire was fixed, the luggage rack I tore off was inside and he had repaired the fence I demolished. Here is the site I drive by quite frequently now! And to be honest.... I DID tell him stuff like that happened all the time I case he wanted an easy out!!! I'm glad he didn't though!!

Thunder Up!

We had such a good time last night at the OKC Thunder game!

We met up with the Coles and many other Methodists for a great time!!

Day at the fairgrounds

We spent the day in OKC at ... "the state fair of OK lahoma".... if you're not from OK the song is obviously NOT in your head.  I saw some dang good lookin' salad dressing...

 

 

We also went to the Bull Riding festivities and met up with Brian and Jacqueline!

August Birthdays

We celebrated Debbie's birthday with The Evans family of Waco, The Guinn family of Guthrie, Sir Hollis and mama Hill, Sp, and us. The Rusty was wonderful!

 

 

Also celebrated Taylor's birthday in OKC at Vast... which is at the top of the Devon Tower.

Portland and Casa de Sanchez

We boarded the plane and headed west! First stop was an amazing pizza place. I knew we were in good hands when they brought us a margarita in a kids sandbox toy!

Day 2 : Alpine slide, Cocktails at Mt Hood, and an incredible waterfall tour

 

We got our penny bent at Mt St Helen's

and had dinner downtown Portland at the top of a sky scraper
